Moldova GRES generated almost 5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in 2021

In 2021, electricity production at Moldova TPP increased by 6%. As General Director of the power plant Valentin Trubchanin said at his press conference today, the plant has generated 4,992 million kilowatt-hours in total. More than two thirds of this volume was exported to the Republic of Moldova.

The capacity of the GRES last year was 22.6% utilized. The plant carried out a big repair campaign. As in previous years, environmental aspects were of great importance in the work of Moldava GRES. A supervisory environmental management audit under ISO 14001 was successfully passed.

As Valentin Trubchanin noted, the company allocated 231 million rubles for investment in fixed assets in 2021. 1.6 million was allocated for charitable assistance, the recipients of which were hospitals, churches, schools, public and sports organizations, as well as orphans and disabled children.

At the end of the year, Moldavskaya GRES was again among the largest taxpayers in Transnistria, transferring more than 317 million rubles to the budgets of all levels. The company also managed to increase salaries last year: for managers, specialists and clerks they increased on average by 9.7%, and for workers – by 15.7%
