Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pridnestrovie met Italian entrepreneurs

On the 27-th of September the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pridnestrovie met Italian entrepreneurs who represented various areas of business.

Vice-President of the CCI Vasily Kozhan noted that Italy and Pridnestrovie are united by long-standing economic relations. Export to Italy for the first half of this year amounted to 19.5 million US dollars (the second place for exports to the EU after Romania). Using the experience of the Italian economy, four associations of – poultry farmers, beekeepers, wine growers and women entrepreneurs – have already been established in Pridnestrovie.

The parties discussed issues of economic cooperation, as well as the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs. Matteo Peggio, an entrepreneur engaged in the production of wines and olive oil, said that one of the purposes of the visit was to make a documentary film about Pridnestrovie.

Moreover, it is planned to create Pridnestrovian-Italian Friendship House in Rome, where not only the historical and cultural values ​​of our country will be presented, but it will also be possible to get acquainted with the products of Pridnestrovian enterprises.
