A meeting was held in CCI with representatives of the German consulting company Berlin economiсs

On 20 July, a meeting was held in CCI with representatives of the German consulting company Berlin economies. The delegation is composed of the project manager be Jörg Radeke, economist Voldemar Walther, and the representative of the German Embassy in Moldova, Ulrich Klepmann. This is not the first meeting of the Parties, CCI has long been in contact with the economies of Berlin, the two sides are interested in bilateral cooperation.

During the dialogue, Vice-President of CCI Vasily Leather described the emerging economic situation in Transnistria this year, as well as the Government’s initiatives to phase out reforms as a result of the development of road Maps from the work of the various working groups. He also reported on the need to audit administrative procedures to improve the business climate and to facilitate the establishment of new companies.

The guests asked what should be done to support and promote exports of local products to the European Union. Vasiliy Kozhan suggested that the possibility of accreditation and recognition of Transnistrian phytosanitary and veterinary inspection services, as well as other certifying bodies and laboratories would have a positive effect on export Transnistrian goods.

At the end of the meeting, thanked each other for the informative talk and agree on possible cooperation in the part of the research within the framework of the activities of the Berlin Economics to develop recommendations for the Government of Transnistria.
