Pridnestrovian top managers adopt Austrian experience

From May 18 to June 17 a specialized course of skills improvement professional development of managers has been passing at the Business School. The first training stage included intensive training in various areas: strategic planning, time management, personnel management, risk management, conflict management, enterprise creation, business plan development and business communications. Trainings were conducted by certified specialists of the WIFI Institute for Economic Development of Austria.  Among participants of the course are managers and owners of such companies as “High Tech”, “KVINT”, “Avenue”, “Rilla”, “Promarmatura”, “Jasmond”, “Su-28”, etc. Training took place within the framework of the project “Set of activities to provide business education and staff development of business organizations in order to enhance business activities in Pridnestrovie”. The project is funded by the European Union and is being implemented by the United Nations Development Program.

From October 9 to October 13, the second stage of the course was held – an internship in Vienna (Austria) with the purpose of exchanging experience and establishing business contacts. Unique in this trip was that the Austrian Economic Chamber organized visits for each participant to Austrian enterprises corresponding to their specialization. Among them were the water purification company EBS Hauptklaranlage, the winery Nikolaihof Wachau, which is more than 2000 years old, company Leutascher Fischerei for trout farming in mountain water and its processing, network of coffee houses Kaffeefarbik, which is more than 120 years old, hotel complex, breweries, new technologies, etc. The leaders and owners of Austrian enterprises happily shared business experience, told what methods and tools they use to develop their business, shared experience in implementing and using quality standards, and also told about specificities  in each area of ​​activity.
