A seminar-presentation “A successful business based on marketing research” was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On April 27 a seminar-presentation “Successful business on the basis of marketing research” in the framework of the Transnistrian “Partnership in Marketing Research Project” was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The project is implemented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of France-Moldova together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Transnistria and is funded by the European Union and is being introduced by the United Nations Development Program.

The guests were told about the training of a group of specialists from the CCI of Transnistria and France-Moldova CCI for conducting market research based on modern international standards. And also some results of the pilot study of consumer preferences of the Transnistrian population were shown.

Based opinions of 500 ordinary Transnistrians, received through the questionnaire, disadvantages and advantages of local goods and the attitude of Transnistrians to its price and quality were revealed. It was concluded that the buyers do not know the local producers, which means that manufacturers are not working hard to promote their own products, they are practically not engaged in branding or developing their own brand.

During the seminar, the director for quality control of Magenta Consulting, Irina Batyr, told the story of the creation of a company specializing in the research in which she works. She cited several examples of research, the results of which helped to identify problems and provide data for making the right management decisions that ultimately led the company to success. However, Irina Batyr noted that to conduct research and get the right data is only half the way to success, it is still necessary to correctly use these data.

The Bureau of Marketing Research of the CCI of Transnistria will continue to study the Transnistrian market within the framework of the project “Buy Transnistrian” and it is ready to accept orders for conducting marketing and sociological studies of any complexity.
