The meeting of the Head of the EU delegation in the Republic of Moldova, Peter Mikhalko with the leading Pridnestrovian enterprises and business communities took place in the Chamber and Industry of Pridnestrovie

On 23th March, the meeting of the Head of the EU delegation in the Republic of Moldova, Peter Mikhalko with the leading Pridnestrovian enterprises and business communities took place in the Chamber and Industry of Pridnestrovie. At this meeting there were representatives as JSK “ Moldova Steel Works”, CJSC “Moldavian GRES”,  TIF “Intercentre Lux”, NP CJSC “Electomash”, NP “Road and Transport Association”,  LLC “Korol”, LLC “Softshuz”, ASC “Gazpolimerservis”, LLC “Holpark”, CJSC “SU-28”.

The parties discussed a significant number of topical issue, exchanged views and evolved plans for turther cooperation.

Yuri Ganin stressed that there are a number of problems related to the import of goods through the checkpoint Kuchurgan,  due to the fact that there is no harmonization of the system in the framework of technical regulation.

Peter Mikhalko assured that now intensive work is being carried out on these issues. He also expressed the opinion that it is necessary to reach agreement between Tiraspol and Chisinau on stabilization of products.

They also discussed the important issue of mutual settlements with foreign economic agents and locking bank transfers.

The Head of the EU delegation recommended carefully study banks in Russian Federation and choose banks that aren’t included in the sanctions list.

Regarding the movement of cars across the border of Ukraine with Pridnestrovie, Peter Mikhalko said that in negotiations it is recommended not to take drastic measures without appropriate preparation of the population. He also said that he specify how this process will be implemented.

Vasily Kozhan made a proposal to establish cooperation between CCI PMR and CCI EU with the participation of the EU delegation in Republic of Moldova.

Yuri Ganin said that representatives of European Union Delegation to Republic of Moldova will be sent invitations to the 6th Pridnestrovian investment and economic forum, which will be held on 11-12 of October in Tiraspol.
